Privacy Policy

Who this policy is for

This policy explains how Roulie handles personal information when you create an account, discover Roblox experiences, use social features, contact support or interact with moderation. Roulie is intended for people aged 13 or older. We do not ask for your date of birth, and privacy-friendly defaults apply to every account.

Information you provide

Account information includes your email address, unique username, password authentication and display name. You may also choose an avatar, bio, favourite genres and profile visibility settings. Your Library, Played history, Top 3, favourites, Roulie votes, Best with Friends answers, follows, blocks, reviews and review votes are saved when you use those features.

If you contact support or submit a report, we process the category, username, contact email, message, relevant game, review or account, and information needed to review what happened. Never send us your password, verification code, recovery link or secret credentials.

Information collected automatically

Roulie and its service providers process authentication and session information, security events and limited technical information needed to operate and protect the service. We use limited anti-abuse information to detect suspicious activity and enforce reasonable usage limits.

With your consent, Roulie records first-party aggregate page-view and site-visit totals and uses Google Analytics 4 to understand visits, devices, acquisition sources and interactions with the service. Google Analytics may process information such as truncated or derived network and device information, browser details, approximate location, pages visited and interaction times. Roulie disables Google advertising signals and does not send your Roulie username, email address or internal account ID to Google Analytics.

Roulie also imports public Roblox experience information such as titles, creators, descriptions, player counts, genres, icons and thumbnails. This is catalogue information rather than information taken from your private Roblox account.

How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts; provide login, recovery and account changes; operate profiles, Libraries and social features; personalise discovery; calculate community signals and leaderboard positions; investigate reports and enforce the Community Guidelines; answer support and privacy requests; prevent abuse; and maintain Roulie.

Depending on the purpose, this processing is necessary to provide the service you request, to meet legal obligations, or for Roulie’s legitimate interests in security, moderation, service improvement and protecting users. Roulie asks for consent before enabling optional aggregate traffic analytics, and you can change that choice through Cookie settings in the footer. Where consent is legally required for another optional feature, Roulie will ask before enabling it.

Campaigns and payments

If you request or purchase a promotion, Roulie processes your account, promoted game, campaign choices, dates, budget, approval history, aggregate delivery results and payment status to review, deliver and account for the campaign. Your Roulie username may appear with the campaign in private creator and Roulie records.

Stripe hosts checkout and processes information such as your email, payment method, billing or transaction details, device and fraud-prevention signals. Roulie receives payment identifiers, amounts, currency and payment, refund or dispute status, but does not receive your complete card number or security code. Payment and accounting records may be retained where necessary for tax, fraud, dispute and legal obligations.

Public profiles and your choices

Your username, display name, chosen avatar, follower and following counts, and leaderboard position may appear on your public profile. You can choose whether to display your bio, Games Played total, Top 3, favourite genres, favourite games, follower list and following list. New accounts begin with optional profile sections and social lists hidden.

Your email address, password information, private username-to-email login mapping, internal user ID and full Library are not shown publicly. You can manage profile visibility, following and blocked users in Settings. Blocking is designed to stop Roulie’s search, profile and follow systems from bypassing that choice.

Who receives information

Roulie relies on selected providers for database and authentication services, application hosting, email delivery, payment processing, analytics and security, including Supabase, Vercel, Stripe and, only where analytics consent is given, Google Analytics. They process information under their applicable roles and safeguards. Roblox receives normal requests when you choose to open an experience, under Roblox’s own terms and privacy practices.

Roulie may disclose information where required by law, to protect users or the service, to investigate fraud or serious abuse, or as part of a properly managed business transfer. Roulie does not sell personal information. Roulie’s labelled campaign billboard is contextual rather than targeted using a viewer’s profile or behaviour. Personalised advertising is not enabled.

International processing

Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Roulie relies on the contractual and technical safeguards offered by those providers where international transfers require protection.

How long information is kept

Account and profile information is generally kept while your account is active. A deletion request makes the ordinary profile inactive immediately and begins a 30-day cancellation period. After that, the protected process can permanently delete the authentication account and connected personal information. A released username remains reserved for seven days.

Traffic event identifiers are retained for no more than two days to reject duplicates. Protected anonymous session values are retained for up to 32 days; daily page and visit totals contain no account, email or original session identifier. Other short-lived security and anti-abuse records expire or are cleaned up according to their purpose. Some moderation, fraud-prevention, payment and support records may remain longer where necessary for safety, appeals, accounting, disputes or legal claims.

Your rights

Depending on the law that applies, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to certain processing. You can change many profile details and request account deletion through Settings. For other requests, use Contact Roulie and choose the privacy category. We may need to verify that the request relates to your account.

If you are in the UK and remain unhappy after contacting Roulie, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office through ico.org.uk.

Security and children’s privacy

Roulie uses appropriate technical and organisational safeguards to protect accounts and personal information. No online service can promise absolute security, so use a unique password and protect your recovery email and verification details.

Roulie is designed for users aged 13 and over. We avoid collecting age documents or dates of birth merely to personalise privacy and apply protective defaults to everyone. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account or that a child’s information is at risk, contact Roulie for review.

Changes and contact

We will update this policy when Roulie’s features or providers materially change and display the revised date. Important changes will be communicated appropriately. Privacy questions and requests can be submitted through Contact Roulie or emailed to support@roulie.co.

This policy will be updated when the service, providers or data uses materially change.
