What Roulie currently uses

Roulie uses necessary cookies and browser storage to keep accounts signed in, protect authentication, remember short-lived security state and make essential site features work. These technologies are not used to sell personal information or build an advertising profile.

Authentication and security

Necessary authentication storage or cookies maintain your signed-in session and protect sensitive account actions. These are security controls rather than advertising cookies.

Interface and traffic state

Session storage can remember a recent page view or selected control for up to 10 minutes so a refresh returns you to the same place. It also holds a random identifier for the current browser session so Roulie can count aggregate site visits without treating every page as a new visitor. Local storage remembers only the local password-recovery resend cooldown, currently 60 seconds. Clearing site data removes this local state and may sign you out.

Analytics

If you select Accept analytics, Roulie uses its own aggregate page-view and visit totals and Google Analytics 4 to understand visits, devices, acquisition sources and how people use the site. Google Analytics is supplied by Google. Roulie disables Google advertising signals and does not send your Roulie username, email address or internal account ID to Google Analytics.

Google Analytics may set _ga and _ga_<measurement-id> cookies to distinguish browsers and maintain session information. Google documents a default expiry of up to two years, although the duration can be refreshed or shortened by browser and service controls. Google may process analytics information outside the United Kingdom using its applicable safeguards.

Your browser controls

You can block or delete cookies and site storage through your browser. Blocking necessary authentication or security storage may prevent login, account recovery or protected features from working. You can accept or refuse analytics in the cookie prompt and change that choice at any time through Cookie settings in the footer. Choosing Necessary only prevents Google Analytics from loading. Withdrawing consent stops further Google Analytics collection and Roulie attempts to remove its analytics cookies from this site. Necessary authentication and security storage remains active because the service cannot operate safely without it.
